Ensemble
RODOS

RODOS is a vocal ensemble born from the meeting of eight singers within the Mikrokosmos Choir, which trains young musicians in the art of a cappella choral singing, under the direction of Loïc Pierre. In 2022, invited for an educational stay on the island of Rhodes (Greece), the eight artists discovered an unexpected chemistry among themselves, which inspired them to continue singing together and to form an octet.

Their first program brings together a selection of their favorite pieces. Between traditional songs, Renaissance music, and contemporary repertoire, from Scandinavia to the Mediterranean, passing through Western Europe, these works synthesize the tastes and personalities of the different members of the octet.
